Meet our Principal

On behalf of the school community, I would like to welcome you to St. Joseph’s Catholic
School, Rosebery. My name is Jessinda Jones and I am honoured to be appointed Principal
of this amazing school. We offer a Kindergarten to Year 6 education and welcome our early
learners through our Birth to Five program, Little Joeys.

St Joseph’s Catholic School is a warm and welcoming community where staff, students and
parents participate in the life of the school and parish. As a Catholic school, we nurture the
spiritual development of our school community, offering activities that help develop the
mind and body, whilst providing our students the chance to share their gifts.

We value a positive learning environment and provide a variety of learning opportunities for
our students to foster their academic learning alongside their social and emotional
wellbeing. We continue our commitment to offering quality teaching and learning that
draws on data informed practice and is aligned to the Australian Curriculum and Good News for Living.

St Joseph’s Catholic School continues to support the families who seek a Catholic education
on the West Coast. We promote a healthy lifestyle through our Move Well, Eat Well
program. Students are encouraged to be safe, respectful learners through our schoolwide
behaviour focus and we are building resilience in our students through our involvement in
The Resilience Project.
